Gottlieb Black Hole LED Playfield back Box

“No one escapes the Black Hole”

A Top Favorite:
Gottlieb’s 1981 smash hit, Black Hole. Meticulously restored to full operational condition. The entire game has been gone through, cleaned and repaired. This was once a “routed game” meaning this saw decades of public game play. The restoration project took months but, has left what is now a ready to compete on professional table.

This is the first .50 Cent machine to gain popularity among arcade goers. It also hold the record for the first machine to feature a second playfield; located directly below the main, or “top” playfield.

Ranking 8th most successful machine Gottleib ever produced. It had production runs that totaled 8,774 domestic versions & a small run of export models.

The domestic model, such as this one. Includes an infinity back box with chasing lights around the perimeter. It also includes a rotating center disk to depict astronauts being sucked into the center. The export model had neither of these features in an effort to keep production cost down.

“Justin came out and quickly diagnosed multiple issues on my Bally 8 Ball that were preventing the CPU from booting. This included bad connections on the rectifier board and a faulty solenoid driver. He replaced all of the dead bulbs and also cleaned and polished the playfield and the plastics. My machine now looks and plays like new! I highly recommend Deep 6 Arcade.”
